Boy I've been waiting for a good RPG for awhile. This seems fun the first few minutes through. Finally have a game to play at work.

he is right: not only do companies usually forget europe, but they also forget to translate games into spanish (neither to italian, swedish, etc, but to german & french yes!). however, spanish is a massive spoken language (don't forget south america), and they still keep it apart.

returning to the topic, this game IS a remake for the 1st shining force released for the genesis (megadrive in europe). let's see if they also port the 2nd one, they're are fantastic!

PS: congrats, this game will be released tomorrow in sotres and we already have it

This isn't as good as i hoped it would have been, it's basically like Fire Emblem but with more RPG added. I was never a big fan of Fire Emblem, I guess i'll just go back to playing Super Collapse 2

First of all, I must say that yes this game is a lot better than either of the Shining Soul games.

And as mentioned before no Rom Requests, why don't we just become more strict and ban anyone that requests them even once. It's getting kind of annoying. Especially when they only join to find out where the rom is.

I have just started the second chapter and am liking the game now, best release in a while.

ah.. k.. nah.. I don't enjoy strategyrpg's as much as usual rpgs. like final fantasy tactics, fire emblem, advance wars.. I don't like em very much compared to sword of mana, shining soul 2, breath of fire 2.

usual rpgs/actionrpgs have a better gameplay imo.

Coupla thoughts after playing for 10 minutes: Having played the previous SF, i'd say this one's a noble effort, cuz it's kinda hard replaying the original SF with its obscenely dated graphics.. What I see in this game can be summed up in one word: ~smooth~

I like how "fight sequences" play almost like GBA style FMVs or something, really animated, not blockily messed up, again ~smooth~

The story seems *slightly* more fleshed out than the original, although the card story insert sequence is kinda.. "whu?"

I also like how the hero "Max" can talk now, but he just mainly agrees/disagrees, nothing active or something

One thing i don't like about it is that i can't quite "see" the *rectangular* boxes in front/back of characters very well, i don't remember having such problems before..

Other than that, GREAT-0H!
