in the shinning series the language doesnt matter in some way, just for items and stuffs. this one be better that the first one, cause i got tired of 'missing' the attacks in the first one.
BTW this better has a shorter way to the boss, the first one is loooong.

Can anyone who's played this game for longer than 10 mins confirm if its linear like its predecessor or more 'the user has to pay attention to the story'?.

A LOT of old linear games have had recent sequels, which tend to follow a more 'we tell you what to do next, its up to you to do it' methodology (ie. levels are accessible before they need to/can be done)

I'm on a -very- low bandwidth network and just want to know so that if i do spend time downloading - it won't end up unplayable to me [IMG]

I LOVED the first one, played the Japanese A LOT when it came out though I never beat it, believe it or not I've never even seen the English version yet and I DO have it.

I hope this one doesn't require Japanese knowledge and is like SS1, too bad it's 128 I'll have to get rid of a lot of games to flash it, but I guess I'll wait until I get my other cart even though I'm very excited about it I'll just play it on VBA until then.
