Anyone knows of a good guide about learn to play the yu-gi-oh trading card game? not the videogame, just the table game with real cards. Thanks!
I still maintain that Magic: The Gathering is a superior game in every respect, including the people who play it, but if you're convinced on learning the more expensive yu-gi-oh game... Contact me via PM or email (or even ICQ) and I'll hook you up with my brother through a chat program. He doesn't play outside the video games, but he judged at local tournaments and knows the rules better than I do.
[EDIT] Speaking of said brother, is this game any different from the other YuGiOh games released? He's liked the others thus far and I want to know if it's worth gearing up to battle through IRC for it.
ALL CCGs like this are best learned from another player. Even Magic.
[EDIT-2] As for story in the game -- there really is none as told by the cards. There's an anime-storyline where the cards are used as a tool for drama, but the cards themselves don't represent events or a story. (In almost every other CCG they do, including Magic)
