Gba. I wonder why you hate it on Gba.... it's almost 100% the same as on pc. Maybe you should try playing it again (on PC), it WILL be weird

, after having played UT and stuff for a long time. Doom was back then when you couldn't turn quickly around with the mouse.

The pc controls used were essentially the same...

I 100% knew this game would suck.

GBA is more for 2D IMO, Castlevania, Metroid etc.

GS and GS2 work well because they are simple gameplay style.

3D should stay away from GBA, unless it can be done properly......
Castlevania has some 3D in it!! (atleast Harmony of Dissonance)

Golden Sun is only 2D. it only has scaling and some rotation(some stones).

I'd like 3d to stick to GBA, however, I want good looking textures and as many polygons there's possible without dragging down the fps to low.(Medal of Honour)
A Castlevania with 3d backgrounds (and 2d background above) with sprites would be sooooo damn cool.
Resident Evil for GBA maybe?.
Perhaps Warcraft in 3d on GBA, where you only play a hero with locked camera(where you can rotate cam with R and L or something). (WC3 doesn't have that much polys)
Mario 64 for GBA!!

These are only simple ideas of what can be made.

Woah!!

Try to see the GBA power more like a 486 or early pentium pc... you'll get the picture.

Another thing, there will always be 2D and 3D on Gba. Actually I'm quite happy that the GBA is not too 3D capable so it's like the good old times where there are really good 2D games or some programmers try to squeeze the last bit of power out for 3D-like stuff

Aah those times...

I think you all forget Super Monkey Ball Jr.

This game is exactly the same of the GC version.

The 3D (really simple OK) and the gameplay too are very good.

I like 2D games (old school) but the improvement in the 3D game on GBA make me want more 3D game.

And Mario Kart 64 will be an excellent choice!!!

Trune here,

I say GBA is fine with just 2D games,
it's not like you want to by old-gamer 2d games on Xbox,
so thats why you have GBA...

Those good ol' classic sideway sprites

Im not against the 3D or nothing, but hey, it's why I play heaps of GBA games..

Flashing my cart with this now. Am curious to check it out due to the hype the engine's had (PS1 graphics on the GBA). Monkeyball Jr and sega rally are the best 3d games imo.

Edit - yup, can confirm that this is a blurry, unplayable mess
