Gaming Netbooks

Netbooks have arrived well over a year ago, and I just wanted to see how popular they're getting. I'm seeing a lot of posts from people that say they have one. I had a 701, and now I have a 900HA(which I highly recommend)

Also this is not a thread to argue which one is better. Most of them have very similar specs (1.6ghz atom based)

have the 701 and its quite good, goes a bit slow does my head in some times but well thats about it, does exactly what i want it to do

the size is the big plus, screens a bit small im tihnking of getting the acer aspire one..

even OEM ones are coming now u see advent etc selling them.. means they must be selling and people must be wanting them

I love my Aspire One (1GB, 160GB HD, Black), I have Windows 7 on it and a 6 cell battery, gets more than 6 hours (around 6:30). I mainly use it as a primary PC, yes, I do have a full fledged desktop, but most of what I do on it is web browsing and I like being able to do that everywhere in the house. The only time I use my desktop is for a little gaming here and there.

The 900HA has the same outer case as your 701, but it has a hard drive and a 9" screen. The acer to me looks closer to a 10" model in size

With the 3-cell, I'm sure.
I get 5 to 6 hours with my 6-cell, depending on how I'm using it.
