in nesterDS 0.39 the game works but it is with frameskip and dodgy sound...

I tried the untranslated rom in NESDS 1.3a And that one worked!!!!

For some reason the translated rom doesn't work in NESDS 1.3a... but does work in NesterDS 0.39 but its crappy :(

    Gambia, The
sometimes translations break games that would otherwise work on an emulator.

some pokemon hacks dont work on uo gpsp but magically do on gbatemp without a problem.

you may try an old release of nesds, it might work for this game and better than on nester.
otherwise, nester seems to be your only way

Ahh I see.. that sucks major balls then.. im stuck to playing Japanese version with good speed and sound... or translated game with crappy sound and speed.

Also tried an 0.5 NesDS version... also stuck...

One difference though when I load the Japanese version it is in zip format.

When I load the translated version it is in Nes format.

So I though lets zip it and see what happens.

The screen keeps flashing every 5 seconds and see some lines...
So appearently it did make some difference..

zip or unzip makes no difference, only slightly on space on sd card and loading time when you start the game.

i guess theres another alternative, playing it on your pc, which should give you the best of both worlds if you really need to play this game.

I'll have to ask, since theres two versions of nesds, the old one and the new open source copy. have you tried one of each
    new one:

    http://filetrip.net/nds-downloads/emulators/download-nesds-1-3a-f30809.html
    old one:
    http://filetrip.net/file.php?id=796

i'm guessing you're using the first one, try out the one in the second link.

it has only one "save state slot though' accidently overwritten it already lol with that touch screen..

Saved also ingame.. but start menu only has start.. no load savegame ..

    Gambia, The
the second one might require to manually click 'save sram' whenever you save ingame i think. that will save the games native savestates to sd card.
