    Neoflash MK6-Motion announced

    Motion sensor for homebrew

Neo Team 2007 have unveiled their latest product; the MK6-Motion. It contains 16M (MB/Mb not specified!) of onboard flash that you can burn homebrew ROMs to via a slot 2 flash card. It doesn't contain on-board pass through functionality and will only function as a PassMe if you burn a NoPass ROM to it.

To play motion sensor supported homebrew from directly? Perhaps Neoflash want homebrew authors to make their motion sensing only work on this card so people will buy it.

Any chance that Wario Ware Twisted would be playable on this?

I'd have to go with a big fat NO. Unless the ROM was hacked to support it. But that would be rather tricky

GBA software cannot access DS hardware.
    So it's impossible.

hm, not very useful in my eyes since there are no nds games that supports the motion sensor.
the only compatible games should be wario ware twisted and yoshis tupsy turvey(?), but since these are gba games it doesent matter anyways.
and i doubt that there will be homebrew games which justifies the buying

    Exactly.

And when they make homebrew games... they'll probably suck anyways.

Sorry homebrew guys, but your stuff usually is worthless. [IMG]

That has got to be one of the stupidest things I heard so far ^^
I mean, for once a linker company made a linker clearly axed towards homebrew, and I find that great. This probably won't be the ultimate linker, but having a DSMotion included is a great plus.
There are lots of small and fun games using the DSMotion, but sorry, no official game... Keep in mind no official rom uses DLDI, does that mean DLDI is useless ? (as Smealum pointed out, you would probably love DLDI anyways for dumping roms I guess...). Some people here code and/or use homebrew, please respect them ^^

Mollusk: don't bother, even Neo's forum is filled with whiny little pirates who ride those lines. To me it looks like a MK-mini replacement with motion added.

Well, I'm off to reflect fondly of the "back in the days" of when the group of "i dont know how to do it or if it can do what I want it to but i bought it anyway so why doesnt it let me steal stuff like i thought it would?"s was oh so much smaller than the "cool, this looks complicated lets see what else I can make it do!"s.

are there any real NDS games on the horizion that will use a motion card. if you wanted to i guess you could make a good driving simulation game, use the ds as a steering wheel. you could use the ds as a joystick for flying planes, etc.

If there is no official Nintendo motion card released/announced, then why the hell would Nintendo even consider such games?

    EDIT: Silly wording. Rewritten.

Haha. Personally i think the whole motion homebrew business is pretty limited and almost useless.

Interesting? sure, but i doubt anything related could engage me for more than 10 minutes.
