Hacking Neo Gamma and USB Loader GX questions

Hi,

Okay, first things first.
Don't Neo Gamma and USB Loader GX do the same thing?

1. If not, what DO they do?
2. If so, which do YOU prefer?
3. How do I install that onto my SD card? (VERY IMPORTANT QUESTION)

neogamma is mostly used to play games out of DVD's,you can play via SD/USB but the drive must be in WBFS format,which is useless now
USBLOADER GX does the same as neogamma,but it only allows USB/SD in WBFS formtat

if i were you,i'd use CFG usbloader and use my drive en FAT32,you can store more things than your games,without the need of formatting in WBFS

USB loader GX supports: WBFS, FAT32, NTFS, EXT2/3/4

A lot of beta updates have been coming out behind the scenes lately. The compability is near perfect now.
Check this thread for the beta releases: http://code.google.com/p/usbloader-gui/issues/detail?id=1718

An official release will come in the next few days.

So I can use that with my external and keep it as ntfs/fat32 without having to format it to wbfs and lose everything on it?

Yes, iso's need to be converted to .wbfs though. (not sure if it supports .iso, but .wbfs is much smaller anyway)
Please google for instructions since I'm still a loyal WBFS user.

Darkreaper says usbloader gx only uses wbfs and suggests using CFG usbloader as u don't need wbfs.

But sebastiaan says usbloader gx supports fat32/ntfs ect..

Which is the correct statement please?

So I just install usbloader gx, convert my iso's into wbfs and I can load them?

What's filetrip u updated?
Is it easy to convert iso into wbfs?

Both USB loader GX and CFG loader support WBFS/FAT32/NTFS. Not sure if CFG also supports EXT, but GX does anyway.

I think this tool supports iso<->wbfs conversion: http://gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=188295

For install: download the filetrip file, put it in sd:/apps/usbloader_gx/ and launch via hbc.

Yes.
Black Ops works with CiosX rev21 base 57

Wii sports resort needs alternate dol on first launch. (to bypass/fix the wiimotion plus instruction video)

How do I create ciosx rev21 with base 57 please? I have the ciosx rev21 in my hbc.

Also I have the alternate dol, but where do I need to put it please so that it can locate it to load?
