So i broke my psp 1000 screen years ago. I recently found it a couple months ago and removed the screen. It doesnt have a battery, but i do have a charger, but its not official(just a simple usb).
I plug it in, and the orange charging light doesnt turn on..
I dont know whether i should order a new screen/battery or just buy a new psp..

In all honesty, purchase a new PSP.
They aren't that expensive anymore (especially now that the Vita also flopped).
That being said, save up for a Vita is a possibility.
HENkaku and Adrenaline are the best PSP successor.

Well heres the thing..
I have a vita, but to make a long story short i got a new screen for it, and now the home button isnt really a button any more, as its stuck, but if i push really hard, it still works fine.
The onlyreason i dont use my vita is because ive only got an 8gb card, and its pretty much useless. I would love to get a 32 or 64 gb card, but id rather not have to pay what i got the vita for just to get one..

Fair enough.
If you want a PSP, get a fully hackable 2K model or go with a PSP Go.
And why a 2000, and not a 3000?
(Sorry ive been out of the psp loop for about 6 years now)
And doesnt the go not have a circle pad? Does that not affect gameplay? Another stupid question, I thought the pspgo didnt have the entire pap library, or am i just misinformed?
Sorry, and thank you

Iirc, the 3K had a shittier screen..
Not entirely sure about it.

You're severely misinformed for the PSP Go yeh.
Every PSP game works on it, it just doesn't have a UMD drive.
It's got 16 GB of internal storage and can be expanded with another 16 GB of M2 storage.
I find that having a controller grip for it makes it a hell of a lot better as well.

I feel like the pspgo is super expensive considering its pife cycle, but ill look into them both anyway.
Thanks so much dude! :)

A Go wouldn't set you back much more then a normal PSP would ;p
It's a really neat iteration of the PSP line and imho, deffo worth the money.
The screen is amazingly lovely, better then all the other PSP screens.

No prob~

Oh, you can fully hack all PSPs with Davee's Infinity.
I've used it on me Go and it's working perfectly.
