Hacking Need to get my Wii 'sellable'

Hi,

I have a JAP Wii on 3.2. I have used AnyRegionChanger to make it English. If someone updates, will it brick the system?

If so, what are my best options, switch back to JAP, update, then use ARC again? Will it even work on 4.2?

Question. Do you have a NAND backup before you changed things around on it? That's what i did when i sold my other JAP WII, from when I stationed in Japan.

I had a region converted Jap to US wii (3.2 - then upgraded to 4.0). I upgraded it to 4.2 by using safe firmware updater.
The results: No big problems or bricks after the upgrade, except that my dc2key won't read any Pal disks anymore in the diskchannel (it's because
4.2 has some additional region checks that the mod chips cannot fix, I could potentially use starpatch to alleviate this....).
I'm using usbloader gx as my main gaming tool anyhow, so it won't be a big problem with the wii not reading any Pal disks anymore.
