You can't go there yet. Backtrack to the place with the lizard head that is shooting/spraying lava. There is a door on your left that you couldn't get to before. Use you ICE MISSILES to get there, and break the big pipe which basically creates a short cut to your ship. Also, at the place where you break the pipe, to the right is a missile enhancer or w/e it's called.
Go to your ship and go to Jungle Thorn.
