Okay I don't need surround speakers. I just need a 2-Piece speaker that won't sound bad. And will actually sound pretty good for watching videos on youtube and won't be quit as hell.

Whats that big speaker for. I have no room for that thing on my computer.
That's for the low frequencies, or bass.
Most people I know put it on the ground.

Personally, I am about to buy these

It's a subwoofer, it really doesnt need to be placed next to the small speaker just somewhere near them.

on my setup, i got the two speakers behind the monitor or beside it .
then the sub woofer goes under my desk .

it really does make your sound much more enjoyable and gives music another feel when compared to just the speakers themselves .

I use that setup too. Satelites beside the monitor and subwoofer on the ground.

But it really depends on acoustics of the room and what you wanna hear.

I don't think I need that do I?
If you want shit to sound decent, you need it.
that "big speaker" you are refering to is the subwoofer, that gives out the sound of lower frequencies that the other speakers cannot.
Get it if you want good sound quality, if you don't, it'll sound tiny as shit.

Also, those speakers you first linked to are actually pretty cheap themselves. Unfortunately speakers arn't on the lower price range of goods. Trust me, if you save your dosh and get those, it'll pay off in the end.

To be fair, you don't really need a subwoofer. Using cheap stereo speakers (and you can get some for £10 and up) is all you need if you want sound to play - and it generally won't sound "tinny" unless the speakers themselves are tiny and badly made (like some £4 USB speakers I picked up the other day because I thought the USB part may help - I took it back because it was so awful). However, the subwoofer does make the music strike deeper and sound consideraly better. You can get stereo speakers with a built in subwoofer (meaning you don't need the central unit that takes up so much space), but they get mixed reviews at best. Otherwise, the more money you spend on your speakers, the better the quality generally is. At some point you'll be unable to hear any difference in quality unless you buy a good sound card to go with it, and those can cost from £40 to £160.

I just use the Virtual Surround Sound my monitor provides. It's placed in the corner of my room, so it gets fairly good accoustics, even if it does have a little bit of a weak bass. For everything else, I use my headset, which makes everything sound awesome.
