Hacking Need steps on updating to 11.8

I downloaded 9.8 luma but wanna get what steps to take without messing up

1. Make sure you already have B9S installed and not A9LH. If you still have A9LH do this: https://3ds.hacks.guide/a9lh-to-b9s
   
2. Download latest Luma (9.1) and extract boot.firm to the root of your SD-card.
3. Copy boot.firm to NAND to ensure you can boot without SD-card: https://3ds.hacks.guide/finalizing-setup#section-vi---ctrnand-luma3ds
4. Run official update in System Settings.

Tried thus but wirh 9.1 on my sd card when I turn my system on the light woukg light up blue for a moment then shut off. With 9.0 it stays blue but black screen. I I can't boot godmode

1. Copy everything off your SD card.
2. Reformat your card with MiniTool Partition Wizard (free edition). Use these settings; check this post for instructions.
   • Partition: Primary
   • Disk: MBR
   • File System: FAT32
   • Cluster size: 32 KB
3. Do a Full Write + Verify Test with H2testw. Do not skip this step.
4. If your card passes without errors, delete the *h2w test files.
5. Before putting your stuff back on your card, test your 3DS using the starter kit archive found here.
   • Fiddle reinserting the SD card in the card reader slot if your's very finicky.
