Hey guys, I just need these questions explained as I don't understand it, it's an assessment and I've got no idea what to do.

Have you learnt about Quadratic Trinomials yet? Solving them with the Null Factor Law? Basically this is all substituting numbers in

This is very easy..
If it's an assignment you shouldn't expect people to do it for you.

For a) just sub 25m/s in for v, then let h = 0. Solve the equation for t and you will get two answers. One will very obviously be 0 (t = 0)

The rest basically follows this structure. Sub in values and solve for the unknown variable. I expect this to be, what, year 8 work?

Actually Quadtratic Equations and solving them are Year 9 course

I'll just write out the steps for Q A:

[Sub in 25 for v and 0 for h]
(25)t^2 - 5t^2 = 0
5t^2 - 25t^2 = 0
5t(t-5) = 0
t = 0 OR t = 5
