does anyone know the names of any scary/serious themes. I need something that could be used in a factual documentary and would prefer it to not have any lyrics in it. Thanks.

Also, add Vesti la giubba on the credits or the climax scene , just for it's awesomeness.

Poor payaso, I miss him :'(

Well most film soundtracks have a scary or serious song. I would recommend Poseidon's OST, especially Claustrophobia, The Wave, Drowning (name says it all really, lol), etc. Doesn't get better than that IMHO. Especially if you need longer tracks, Claustrophobia being 7 minutes long.
