Is it no. 89? Well I think its refurbished/2nd hand. No way for a big company to write something to their board and slot 1 using a pentelpen

Mine looks like that too. And that's from when the original DS was still pretty new.
[Edit] Oh, yeah. My pins broke so I tore that metal off to try to fix it. I saw it like that in a video, but I think I did see other pen marks.

Also, what's wrong with having a refurbished unit as long as it still works perfectly and looks good?

Refurbished is in some ways better than new as the entire thing was gone over with a fine tooth comb to make sure all parts were in working order.

I'm quite confident that it's legit. Most fakes don't have the word Nintendo on it correctly, if at all. This looks to be the real deal.

No its not fake, the problem is, what parts are original other than main board?

I bought a slot-1 from chinese website and its not good as original. All my flashcart needs a paper trick to recognize them

You seem disappointed by something in every post. It is an original with some refurbed parts nothing wrong with that at least it works.:nds:

Most refurbished electronics are better than when the ones on the shelf as they use newer parts than when they originally built them.

My original, fresh from Nintendo one has markings on the SLOT1 as well.

Edit - and other places on the board in general.
