My PSP 3000's motherboard makes a click noise every half a sec went plugged in. Need a new one but can't find one anywhere that I trust or if it's even worth my while to replace it or if should just buy a new PSP

I have a 3000 that I think needs a new...everything. Needs a battery, buttons missing, broken disk drive, no screws...
But I'm pretty sure the motherboard is intact. I can't do shipping though, sorry.

Um... is the thing working otherwise? When I think clicking noise, I think tiny arcing when you cause a short circuit. if it charges, I wouldn't worry about it.
If it gets hot, start worrying. If it starts smoking, ditch it and run.

Sounds like a short. Look on eBay for one with a broken screen or something. As long as you can find one with an intact motherboard you can probably salvage it.
