Im currently trying to run NeoGamma R9 from my homebrew channel but it doesnt seem to work. I added the correct files on my SD card and it launches just fine but when I add my DVD + R disk with a few gamecube games but it wont read the disk correctly. Is there some sort of Cioses I need to install for this to run correctly. I read the readme.txt from the download of neogamma but Im still unsure what to do.

You will need a cmios and a wii capable of reading backup dvds. Check the official neogamma thread: http://gbatemp.net/t219243-neogamma-r9-beta-test

I used Modmii and got the WAD file from Modmii. I used WAD manager 1.7 to install 249d2x56 and afterwards I used WiiGator's cMIOS v0.2 and installed both 236 and 249 (wasnt sure which one to do so I did both.) I tried NeoGamma again and it still wont recognize the disk. Im using DVD+R to run on, I cant see anywhere if this is the correct disk or not.

How come that half my backups are on DVD+Rs? Read NeoGamma's mini FAQ.

Not true, it's better if you use Dvd-r's, but Dvd+r's work too
Something about +R's damaging the wii's ability to read discs

I know its hard to believe Im still trying to install the right Cioses and getting Neogamma to work but I am. In the FAQ it was recommended for d2x56v4 to be used but the only version accessible in ModMii is v6. Is v6 just as good or better than v4 or does it absolutly need to be v4?

Are you using the latest Neogamma?

Also, make sure you used the correct MultiISO software... I can't remember it ATM.

Also, make sure that in NeoGamma, your options in GC are for the cMIOS to be internal, or it won't boot.
