Need help with Super Robot Wars OG Saga: Endless Frontier EXCEED file

Hello everyone,

Need some help here because I'm a newb and have been trying to do this on my own with no luck. Big Super Robot Wars fan and have been excited about the English subtitles in the past games, which brings me to my question/dilemma. I see that the English patch/application was finished a few years ago and that you can translate the game if you have FILE 4738 - Mugen no Frontier Exceed - Super Robot Taisen OG Saga (Japan).nds. Been looking for it online and haven't had any luck and some sites just return me back to the main page.

Where do I find the file? How can I make this work?

I have a copy of the rom from the Hstore and I have the physical game (been living in Japan for two years) for collecting. New 3DS is homebrewed with the help of following the directions on one of the websites and I have the emulators and other working ROMs, but now I'm stuck and really want to play the game, lol.

That's a ROM. You'll need to dump it. Since you have a modded 3DS it's a pretty simple process, just follow the instructions here. You'll want to verify your hash with the relevant No-Intro database entry. If you get a mismatch, try dumping the trimmed/untrimmed (whichever you didn't the first dump) version and try again.

If you still are having problems, reach out to the patch creator and ask for the hash of their base ROM. Then you've got to get your hands on a cart with that hash and dump it.
