Installed the modchip. no issue and no apparent messups. It boots fine to the no sd screen without an sd. When I insert an sd and turn it on it sits on a black screen. I removed the sd card as I thought it was not workinh and got to this vertical hekate screen and was able to check emmc and sd card “I was able to reinsert sd whilst in the menu and see it’s info aswell” if I select “reboot (ofw)” I’m shown a blue screen and same with holding volume buttons on boot to bypass chip still bluescreen.

Tried with two picofly chips

Yellow line is broken for sure, red line not 100% sure but worth to fix it since you need to fix yellow one.

How should I go about fixing it, would bridging with solder do or should I use wire? I have some 30awg enamel wire

Should work. those are very common jumper wire
Cleaned up the area prepping for the fix and yup you were right about only one being broken. Jumper wire arriving earlier than expected, Gets here tomorrow. Should I also get some uv solder mask?

Hold on a minute!

leave that to a pro, looking at your soldering i would not recommend you to try that with your lack of skills.

Your switch seems still possible to rescue by someone who knows how to micro solder.
You clearly should not try this repair by yourself, I would say that you will most likely end up with a brick that is non salvageable even for a pro.

Didn’t see this till after lol, I fixed it successfully but definitely see how your advice would be smarter. I want to learn soldering and came into this knowing I’d probably break it. Happy I didn’t!

sure, it is quite close to the metal shield edge. Solder mask gives you protection and isolation.
Messy? A bit. But it works now. And I’m glad I learned more soldering along the way.
