Hacking need help using 3DNUS. I am a noob and I don't want to brick.

I downloaded 3DNUS but I have no idea what to enter.

Pack as .cia: do I check it or uncheck it?

My new 3ds is usa region. sysnand and emunand are both on 9.0

I want to go to 9.5

For 9.5 you have 2 options for version:

9.5.0-22
9.5.0-23

In the region put "USA" without quotes. In the 3dnus thread it says that it will download the next lowest firmware if you put a non-existent one. But make sure to do it on emunand only.

9.5.0-23 USA & check pack as cia, copy the files to your sd card & use bigbluemenu (L+R+A) to select all the cia files & click install to update your 9.0 emunand to 9.5.
