    Hello everyone,

    I need some help.
My Wii has got a (new) used mainboard that is registered to a japanese Shop-Channel-Account.
In order to delete that account I have to enter the serial number of the console.

But the number on the case-sticker does not match (LEF1205XXXXXX) to the nand serial.

Is there a way/tool to find out the serial of the japanese board ?

    thanks in advance
    eugene

I don't have a Japanese Wii, but I have system menu 4.1J (Japanese firmware), And my Wii Shopping Channel is set to Japan. I won't give your Japanese Wii serial, becuase I'm not sure if it's against the rules or not.

Sorry, my post may have been misunderstood.

I am looking for my own serial number.

The european number on my wii case-sticker does not match with the internal number.
My internal (japanese) Serial No is required to delete the japanese shop-channel-account.
Otherwise I will not be able to sign a new account here in Austria.
When I try that it gives an error 205958.

    regards

Well then, search for Google (go to http://www.google.com) and type 'Japanese Wii serial number' (without quotes). Besides, entering the Wii serial number, to remove your Wii Shop account, is region-locked (like the one you did entering European Wii serial number on Japanese Wii Shopping Channel, you can't remove it).

You can use a USB loader or Disc-based backup loader and the Wii Backup Disc. Download it from the "usual places" and either burn or put on the external drive. When you boot the disc it will tell you on the right side of the screen what serial it is.

Thank you, I think that´s it.

Is it only for NTSC available ?
Do I have to search for a PAL version or can I use it ?

    Edit:

Thanks a lot, it worked !!
    Now i have a LJM102XXXXXX

    Regards
    Eugene

Yes, you just need to search for PAL, mate. Using the NTSC-U version will brick your Wii.

Just forcing PAL in USB-Loader worked for me.
