Hardware Need help ripping Digimon Racing sfx & voices

Hello everyone.

I'm having trouble extracting sfx and voices from Digimon Racing (wanted from both North A and Japanese versions)

Is Digimon Racing one of those non-Sappy GBA games?

If so, any working alternatives to GBA Music Riper?

Well, if it still uses the Sappy sound engine, but it's a version that's not compatible with GBAMusRiper, like MOTHER 3, then you can try using Audacity's import raw feature to rip them manually, though it's a major pain in the ass.
Make sure you import it mono, and using some form of PCM. Also, the sampling rate should be somewhere around 8000Hz.

I'm back (since several hours ago I know).
Unfortunately, I'm not sure if I'm using Audacity correctly to get Digimon Racing's sounds.

Imported the ROM

Set settings to:
Signed 8 bit PCM
No Endianess
Mono Single
8000Hz

Got this (Japanese menus since I'm currently using some language packs):


I tried playing any spot; just static noise

Anything I should do differently or/and missing?

Well, if that didn't work then I don't know if anything else will, but maybe try using different encoding and sampling rates?

Might take me a while to test different encoding and sampling rate combinations...
Wish there were some easier way to pinpoint the right rates.
