My limit on a TV is about 1200 and i was looking at this one http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16889102132

the only problem i see with it is it's 40Inches instead of 42, and i hear your eally wont see a difference in 1080p unless the TV is at least 42inches. So what i'm asking is will i really notice the diffrence in just 2inches, and is that a good Tv for the price.

Look at cons, "Slow remote control response", if that doesnt matter, then go for it. Although i say go with the Sharp Aquos.
    Btw, what is your budget?

    That is a good TV

    HDMI (High-Definition Multimedia Interface): 3 (version 1.3)
Component video: 2 (Y, Pb, Pr)
    S-Video input: 1 side/1 rear
    A/V inputs: 1 side/1 rear
    PC input: 1
    RF antenna inputs: 2
    USB 2.0
    HDMI - CEC
    Headphone jack

    ^^ That is really good

1080P is a load of BS in my opinion. Your not gonna really notice the difference between HD and SD. Even if you do, does it really matter? I would still buy a HD tv though cause i'm not sure about the US but in AUS we have HD versions of channels with different shows.

You've never seen them side by side, have you? Here are some screencaps from The Dark Knight trailers, 1080 and SD

1080P is just a higher res.

Don't tell me that you think a game in 640x480 looks the same as a game in 1900x1200, no matter how big your tv is.
