    (.....DMLizard?)
    Have you got Luigi's Mansion, and can suck up ghosts no problems on it? Any other game that uses the analogue bit of the GC 'R' button? Could simply be your pad - it may be the analogue part is broke.... or is it a 3rd party controller?

    Aside from what Adeka said, no can't help you sorry... try Nintendont (look in the Wii U section of the board, works fine on regular Wii too), and use either a classic controller or HID (eg PS3 pad) - if you still can't shoot water with any of those then definitely get a 3rd iso from somewhere else.

    I still reckon there can only be a problem with the R button on your pad to be honest though....

    I'll post the answer I wrote to you in PM here, it's better to use public place for issues, more users can help.

    It's not an issue with the game, but with the controller.
    Which controller are you using? the official Gamecube controller?

    Are you sure the Analog are working? If you have controllers without analog triggers it's why you can't shoot water/walk while shooting.

    DIOS MIOS and DIOS MIOS lite are a little hard to setup, but I didn't see other users with this issue.
    You could try Nintendont too (No installation required, just copy to SD and launch it from Homebrew Channel. It's using the same game path than DIOS MIOS)

    Nintendont works with USB controllers too (PS3/PS4 controller with analog trigger) or WiiU Classic Pro controller but without analog.
    The Non analog controller have a "half pressed" option :
    R2 = Right trigger 100% pressed
    L2 = Left trigger 100% pressed
    R1 + R2= Right trigger 50% pressed
    R1 + L2 = Left trigger 50% pressed

    You have gamecube controller connected to Wiimote?
    They are not official gamecube controllers FOR the gamecube console.

    Official Gamecube Controller from Nintendo that you connect into the Gamecube Controller ports of the console (not in USB, not in wifi, not in Bluetooth, not on wiimote, not wireless) are the only official and working controllers.
    They are working with Analog L and R triggers.

    All other controllers are not analog except:
    Wavebird (official Gamecube controller adapter)
    PS3 (usb)
    PS4 (usb)
    Xbox360 (usb adapter) or (usb adapter+wireless adapter)

    plug it in your USB.
    Launch nintendont -> settings -> Download (don't remember the button to press to go to download menu) -> controllers.
    nintendont -> settings -> HID : Enable.
    reboot to be sure nintendont use your controller settings.

    Xbox or Xbox360?

    Xbox doesn't work.

    Wired Xbox360 works with an adapter
    wireless Xbox360 works but requires TWO adapters!

    it's either
    Wii <-> USB Adapter for Xbox360 <-> 360 Controller connected to adapter
    or
    Wii <-> USB Adapter for Xbox360 <-> Wireless Adapter for Xbox360 <-> 360 controller wirelessly

    AND you need a specific adapter (CronusMax adapter). Not just a random one.

    picture of what?
    the controller? the screen ? mario not shooting water?

    just follow instructions.
    use an official Nintendo GameCube Controller, and problem is fixed.
    or use one of the compatible USB or bluetooth controllers listed on nintendont first post.

    Xbox?
    Xbox 360?
    XboxOne?

    which Xbox console are you talking about?
    If it's "Xbox" (the old one), I already explained that IT'S NOT WORKING.

    If it's Xbox360, then you need a SPECIAL adapter, not just a random one (I feel like I'm repeating myself).

    You have one what?
    If you don't write all your sentence, users can't understand what you are think.

    You talk about an adapter?
    You mean you bought an adapter with the controller? OK! great! but WHICH ADAPTER? I told you that ONLY ONE will work : CronusMax adapter

    If you don't have CronusMax adapter, then you can't use X360 controller with Nintendont.

    Read the Nintendont thread's First post, and choose a working controller. Learn how to make it work (it's all explained in the first post of the Nintendont thread)
