Need for Speed Nitro DS/Wii footage

    Today, two off screen camera videos were taken for the DS and Wii versions of Need for Speed Nitro respectively. Along with each video are some developer notes and information. The Wii version looks more realistic but faster, and the DS has an arcade cartoony look to it. I'm kind of liking how the DS game is going personally but it does look simplistic and arcade-like, and the Wii version seems to have some really good speed. I really don't know how this new "reboot" will work out, but here's the videos anyways-

    The DS version looks kinda good, with nice framerate.... certainly a improvement over undercover, which IMO was an above average but not there racer.

    The Wii one... incredible! Will it be Wii Wheel compatible?

    haha Granville beat me to it..the Wii one looks amazing. I hope it does support Wii Wheel (but I thought the Wii Wheel was just plastic..?) The NDS one looks good too (for a DS game). Looks like an arcade racer, which is what they were aiming for.

    Great graphics for the Wii version, hopefully the physics are on par!

    *sigh* It looks like we will be sticking to Mario Kart DS for our DS racing needs. And when they don't mention multiplayer, there won't be multiplayer.

    Hmm, it looks strange how the cars begin to drift without even breaking a little (I didn`t see any breaking-lights) in the Wii-version. I don`t like that! I`m honestly not very impressed....

    Graphically both versions look ok I guess.

    I've always liked racing games, so I'll definitely check out the DS version once it's released. For a DS game, it looks really nice.

    The Wii version looks good, I like the art style, and there's a nice sense of speed..

    I don't like the style of the DS version, not sure why, the screen looks too bright and empty to me.. but, it could be just the level they're showing. Looks like a fun racing game, though..
