Have you played any of the previous games in both those series?
Most Wanted looks almost on par with it's console versions I read, so that's a good start at least. Haven't found a review for it though.

Assassin's Creed III Liberation I think you'll get more out of AC than Most Wanted
I don't have a vita, but I do own a PS3 and I've played Most Wanted and I wasn't too impressed.
I do think the more I play I will eventually love what they did with it, also there's one perk for having Most Wanted your points/score you get are shared/synced with the whole Origin thing so if you have a PS3 as well you'll benefit form that. No cross-play though

One thing that just occurred to me.... The sound on the 2600 sucked less back then the harsh sound we hear now is from infinitely better speakers we have now, back when the 2600 was new speakers produced a almost muffled sound, like CRTs made old graphics look slightly better. -

I think a few of the early systems could benefit from that, at least up to the 8 bit generation, by the 16 bit generation I think TVs had gotten a lot better in almost every way

Just give it a try, but honestly if you have a 3DS you can play DS games without a card just off the internal SD card
