Hacking Need clarification about retails saves and Emunand

Hi all

I own a 3ds running sysnand of 9.2 and Pokemon AS retail card.

My Question is this:

If i downgrade my 3ds to 4.2 U and then using Spider ROP i install the DS exploit..

1) can i set up and emunand using MT / Gateway / (anything else) launcher ?
2) if i do get emunand up and running (emunand = 9.5), Will i still be able to play Pokemon AS on the emunand WITHOUT losing the save file stored on the card ?

edit: i do not own a Gateway or an MT-card or even any NDS flash card.

1) Yes, if you dont have a gateway use the MT-Launcher to launch the emunand in classic mode.

No different types of encryption.

I would stay on 9.2 as GW works fine with it. If you are worried about the online thing look up Go Gateway works great.

Actually I don't own a gateway and I have no idea when I'll be able to get one either .

So what I'm worried about is waiting for some kind of a new method which will never come.

Yeah most of the newer games are the ones which face this problem.
