What memory do you need? 1GB, 2GB, etc. or external memory?

Ok, what I'm going to tell you is very VERY important...

    CREATIVE FTW!!!

Here are a couple of my reccomendations...

Creative Zen Vision: M - Check Buy.com for the best deals usually. And remember, Google Checkout gives you another 10 bucks off...

If you're looking for something less as far as what it does, try the Creative Zen Micro/MicroPhoto...

Check the mfg website for some better deals on those [IMG]

If you're looking for something under 200$, I recommend an iPod nano [IMG] *is with iamwhoiam*

    Fixed for you [IMG]

No no, you can thank me later [IMG]

Just kidding. While they do have their fair share of 3rd party products/accessories (much more than the Creative players) they're crazy useless/expensive. I mean, why should you have to pay for an external AM/FM tuner for a player that costs more to begin with (in case of ipoo)??

Sony noise canceling walkman is the best Mp3 I ever used. It is the best sounding mp3 player there is. It costs only 129.99 here. Hell, a noise canceling earphone costs that much alone. It is just amazing if you buy mp3 players for what it is supposed to do- play music.

If you can afford it, it's the best damn mp3 player out there by far. No player can match it for style, or interface, or functionality. And the current gen audio output is a lot better than the first/2nd gens. NO NO NO no one can make "it's audio output isn't as good as creatives" debate cos to be honest, you're playing MP3s on it. Not freaking HD-audio.

    *more flame here please*

Same thing happened to me and my iPod Video except for me it was the right instead of left. No money for a new one or a Zune (love the GUI) so I bought Applecare.

If you need/looking for a phone, check some MP3 phones too. Cingular has quite a few of good ones. The chocolates at Verizon are excellent. Beware of the GSM chocolate Do not get that phone!

You obviously don't care about quality. [IMG] j/k, really that's the way to go, if you are a audio "civilian", now if you are an audiophile... you'll die after using moonshell.

I just killed two birds with one stone by picking up a PSP/DS Lite. I can get my game on, watch video on the fly, and have audio playback all in one package. It may not be as sexy as an iPod Video, but frak, it gets the job done.

I'd second the recommendation for a Clix. I have a nice little 2G flash model that's been great for me. With decent phones and the customizable equalizer, the audio is fantastic. The video quality isn't great, but I don't use it for video anyway. If you're looking for a compact, well made, very functional flash player, you should at least check it out.

Theres also a new version of the Clix out, which is really sexy. I personally own a 30gb iPod Video, and love the thing. Say what you will about Apple and iPod, but its a rock solid MP3 player. Before I had a 'pod I owned a Creative Nomad Jukeboxx Zen Extra (or some crap like that). It sounded great, had good batteyr life, but it was huuuuge...

There is no other Mp3 player like it on the market. It has a clear bass option that outputs strong and beautiful bass. Clear stero, and a bunch of features to enhance sound according to your taste. The only thing that sucks is the software, but it is worth it. I give it a 10/10 even with a crappy software. It's got 50 hours of battery life, let's see if ANY player can top that.
    Description of the player.
I also forgot to mention that it looks gorgeous, and it doesn't atract scraches either, unlike the other shiny mp3 players.

I have a Samsung YP-Z5. It offers a great sound and nice menus. According to reviews it's one of the best MP3-Players out there.

The "clix" sounds like something rude. Therefore, don't buy it.

the Samsung K3(or the K5, that one has loudspeakers), because:
    -Slim, nice design + Menu
-3D sound, Echo Effect(Concert Hall Effect)(and of course Bass Boost etc...)
    -Gets updated(2 updates until now)
I've got a 2Gb one fro 149.99$(Well it should be about that in US)
