when i trimmed Brain Age 2 (U) with ur trimmer, didnt work on my G6 ( a flashcard), but when i used original version, it worked.

With 0.44 downloaded from my site? Tried other trimmers?

I'm sorry, but I can't do that. It might be a virus! jk, but seriously, I will tell you everything on how I did it and stuff, once I see some sort of way to change the background regularly. I don't feel it's right to be putting all this verification code in your program before you actually provide a way to change it, for all I know it may never happen.

I guess we'll see. I did a slightly different method this time. I'd be happy to help you increase the security of your program, but the last time I told you about the string in the hex, you simply blocked that, made the program crash, added checking on your search button, and added a timer called rarunpack to crash it at 5 seconds if the Jpeg was missing. That doesn't sound like have your own background.

EDIT: Well, all I feel like showing for proof is a pic. I'll let you decide whether it's real or not.

There are more protections beyond those you mentioned; if you just zero entire blocks of code it won't work. I think you used the VCL image from the resource, which I don't really use anymore, as you might have noticed since it's empty. It won't be there in the next build, so at most you'll be able to remove the picture.

I still don't think your modified one works atm, the output roms should be zero bytes or untrimmed.

I didn't make it crash btw, that was probably the result of hex editing stuff; at most it should just shut down.

Yes, I saw the image data thing and it was disabled, but I didn't use that. And I can assure you none of my .nds files are damaged in any way. But yes, it wasn't really a crash, but simply not booting appears to be a crash I guess.

I trimmed over 21 roms they worked all but one on my R4.

Luminous Arc.nds booted up but there were some errors in the game I got with the trimmed that I didn't with the untrimmed rom. Like some sound errors.

I'll check that rom. Did you try with other trimmers?

Luminous Arc: I've downloaded and checked manually with an hex editor, before and after trimming. There is no RSA signature, and the rom is trimmed just fine, so I guess it must be a problem of the cart with that specific game.

The rom size should be: 117,960,318 bytes

Note that I haven't been able to check them yet in the DS, but the trimming is done just right.
