What do you guys think of having a folder with pictures and the trimmer take a random one each run? maybe each trim? or keep changing them randomly?

How about if I add an installer to the app (which will make shortcuts to desktop, quick access bar etc.. ), would that bother you over having just a single exe ready to run?

i prefer is like it is now, small/simple and working.
all the programs that i stopped using are the ones that grew larger and larger for no good.
I would keep it in a stand alone exe and keep getting it better and better and more bug-free and adding features that normal users dont have to click on (no confusion) but the program does it for them, but it does it inherently.

I still prefer the single execute. That way I can run the program on the fly at someone's house without installing anything. Random pics are fine, as long as they stay in the single execute.

That's my opinion anyway.

Well, about the folder with pictures I meant your own pics, so you can have whatever bg's you want being randomly picked.

randomly? No sorry, that would still show whatshername on the screen

How about in one folder is:

a .ini file
2 pictures
the .exe program.

You edit the .ini to make the program appear with what ever bg you want from those two pictures. People who want whatshername to appear they can request it when editing the .ini file.

If you only have 1 picture in the folder then it will only show that one, although it will still show miharu for a couple seconds at the start, then fade into the new bg, at every run.

I uploaded a BETA, could you guys please try it out and give me some feedback?

Beta notes:

- ONLY overwrite method is enabled.
- NO ZIP support

Keep in mind it may contain bugs, so do NOT use this over 0.44 (besides for testing)

I'd appreciate some logs with the time it takes for trimming.
