Did you ever have any luck with super trimming the VC games?

Wow I loved this tool for batch trimming DS roms. Thanks a lot for the update!

No, and there never will be unless the roms themselves can be patched to not use so much space. Or that gateway will allow > 512KB saves.

I'm asking that question based on the assumption that this post is truthful about having it, and that it wasn't just a one off thing.

Its pretty rare because most VC games ask for more than 512KB, which necessitates the messy card2 workaround.
Hopefully GW team will listen to our cries and clean up this issue.

Ah, I didnt realize the save games took up so much space.

This might have been answered before, but, I have never "just saved at a save point" in a VC game, is the "save-state" in the VC menu the actual game save, or how is that handled?

EDIT: I just answered my own question after remembering the architecture of the VC .3ds files. I'm guessing the "save point save" is stored in the rom.zip, contained in the actual 3ds rom.

In Soviet Russia you're the Location
Will you add a DEP compatibility, please? It's works well in your beta 2 but not in the 3.0 release.

I had a quick look at that in the previous days, checked a couple roms, didn't figure much out in the end as there is very little info about these, so .. I don't know for now.
