I'm a big fan of CCG (magic, yo-gi-oh, etherlords), but this game is a shame and boring.
while the graphic's, sound and animations are great there are very few duelists to battle with (max of 5)
and they all have weak decks, so pretty soon I got bored in contrast to the GBA games where you have more duelists to battle with.
(I played the japanise version and got up to level 9).

Supercard MiniSD settings:
Enable Restart/Trim Rom/Faster Play Game/Patch Cartridge Access High

Spirit Summoner save files work fine on Spirit Caller.

Main Differences between SS and SC:
- Title screen (duh).
- In the wifi menu when on WFC, instead of "Japan Only" in SS it now says "North America Only" in SC as one of the options.
- Japanese card images have been replace by the U.S. card images (i.e. Destiny Board now says "FINAL" instead of "DEATH"), which is normal.
- SC supposedly has a higher encounter rate for dueling spirits, but this hasn't been proven yet...

Other than that, everything else is the same (including the broken engrish - time to go dorm!).

Seems my old CF card is dead. 4xDMA (Direct) Force R/W works fine with my new card.

Never tried a Yu-Gi-Oh game and the cartoons always looked like a 30 minute advert for the merchandise to me, but I loved Pokemon: The Card Game on the GBC so maybe I'll give one of them a try.
Other way around actually. The card game was created because it was popular when they played it in the manga/anime. The series tried several "game of the weeks" until the card game became super popular.
