Ah, yes... Collecting piles of gold dust while avoiding the robots. I used to play this on my Game Boy and it was fun. Classic game!

Have this running on M3 with 4x, R/W and Trim.

I think they they should have given the graphics a bigger overhaul in this DS version, though. I mean, look at the blend of 2D and 3D in New Super Mario Bros! I guess the old look gives players more nostalgia

And how did anyone come up with the idea of this being Bomberman

Ahh, what a trip down memory lane. One of the first games I played on a C64, loaded from casette tape no less.

Y'know this game and Tetris are of the few games that can be pared down to the most rudimentary graphics, and still be just as fun, even years later. Don't screw with the gameplay though... I hope they didn't on this (I haven't been able to try it yet. :'( )

A & B (or Y) does the digging behind & in front. Just the way you like it!

Gotta say, it's pretty sweet. Old school gameplay/levels, but with close-up view on bottom screen and overview (map) with little dots moving around on top screen. Plenty of "oh shi-!!!" moments! (dig faster you little sonofabitch!)

When did Hudson get the rights to this game? I've read that all of Broderbund's properties ended up in the hands of Ubisoft.

Theres lots more coming soon, I'm hoping for some decent compilations that Capcom, Tatio and Sega have on the PSP.

what i lack is typing skills and sleep on a regular basis ;P I ment: a new 2D LODERUNNER nog bomberman

most bomberman games are 2D, only 3D i know is bomberman jetters which is based on a anime series.
