This game has actual good graphics without the blocks....why the hell wasn't ffIII made like this? This game is cell shaded though, so whatever blocks it might have would be covered up. Still the graphics in ffIII are still unexceptable for a game that was made from the ground up for this system

, but whatever nothing will be as bas as the first cheap attemps like the first generation rpg's

.

P.S Tony hawk where the hell are you? I can't wait till next year for a decent wifi game like winning 11.

surely not. phantasia's battle system is gimped beyond belief. unless you mean the PSX version, in which case eternia is still far superior. especially since it's in english, as opposed to moonspeak. phantasia's story is unquestionably superior, though.

also, supposedly, abyss is generally lauded as better than symphonia in just about every way. i have yet to play it, though.

and i've heard some people say eternia is better than abyss in terms of balancing and such. like, the enemy AI doesn't suck as badly, for example.

I wouldnt listen to Famitsu they've underrated many great games and overrated many horrbile games (like Sonic Riders).

Yes, it's more of a reference. As long as I get to try out the full version before I buy a game I'm happy

Demos, videos and screenshots just don't do games justice until you're actually playing the real thing.

You are all forgetting about the might that is Tales of Destiny! How can a game, where the means by which you travel is a tricycle, be so totally forgotten

Maybe this game will also, as ToD did, revive my fond memories of tricycling as a child... lol

In the church is a save point (could be anywhere later in the game i suppose)

There's a blue glowing circle on the end and on the left, just go stand in it

Then push X
Then choose the most right option
then just push a again
Now you can choose a save slot (1 or 2)
pick one
then confirm and it saves

On that board all they were saying is that the games story is the worst out of all the TALES stories. Battle engine is a joke, basicallly no character development, and the game was really quick. Although I haven't heard anything about the online feature.

Reports on this possibly being the worst main tales ever.

-12 hour game
-No voice except in battle
-No skits
-No hiougis
-Useless backtracking to extend game length
-Combat movement is laggy
-No grade shop
-No new game+
-Really simple battle system?
-Non animated/half? intro with ingame footage

I really enjoyed the intro. The graphics look really good for the DS. Too bad I can't play it since I don't know Japanese.

ROM is pretty big though.

So far, I haven't gotten into the game much... the battles are kinda dull to me... it doesn't seem even close as good as the other Tales games. I'm still gonna give this game a chance so I'll play longer and hope the game gets better.
