i died a little inside when i saw this, im hoping for some better releases this month *crosses fingers*, i thought there were ment to be some October 10th releases. but i cant remember what they were.

Tony Hawk's Downhill Jam, Pokemon Ranger, and Children of Mana (Possibly the best of the 3).

About 5 days from now the good stuff will start to get released, starting with Contact (US version).
In addition to the games you mentioned, there's also going to be:
Gyakuten Saiban 2 - 26th Oct (Pheonix Wright 2 japanese version, also has an english option!). About a week after that we get Winning Eleven DS on 2nd Nov (with Wifi play!!).
