I'm thinking by the box art that this is an FPS.

EDIT: Obviously it's not. Not so similar to Nintendogs, you control a character/avatar and raise the dogs. Mini-games, etc. That kind of shit. In a cute, girly, pink presentation like you could get from Orc.

yeah, this isn't much like Nintendogs.. it's more like the GBA Dogz game (which I think was a localised version of a previous game in the Kawaii Koinu series)
