In other news, I wished Dirtie's post spread out to all the new game releases. I mean come on, let's talk about the game. It's getting lame how people just post "Oh works with bla-bla-bla."
By the way people, would it kill you to talk about getting the game working on your device in the appropriate forums reserved for such discussion? I remember when release threads usually discussed the game itself, rather than the ludicrous amount of posts (yes I would even call it spam) that appear when a game doesn't seem to work for a device (and even when it does). Keep cart specific discussion in the cart specific forums.

Anyway... I've played the Japanese version to death getting gold on all the recipes. Then my cousin decides to choose the delete save data in the options menu.

It was fun while it lasted. I haven't beaten all of the challenges though.

Best Recipes for me are:
- Grillin' fish. *foo*
- Anything not involving the stupid separation of egg yolks.
Why would we need several threads, one for each card, about the same game? That's just rediculous. Much better to have it all inclusive in one thread. Besides, I think most of us use these threads for the sole purpose of seeing if the games are working on our card before we download it, and what settings the game works on. There is nothing stopping discussion of the actual gameplay as well. It's usually only the first few posts reporting what it is working on anyway. We do NOT need several threads about one game. That's what I would call spam, not a few posts in the game thread saying what it works on.

Oh my God ! wouldn't it be more fun just to go some meters to the kitchen and cook something REAL ! ?

I don't know whats more stupid ... those guys who developed that game or those who actually play such a game ....

I don't know... but they sure don't compare with teenagers that watch japanese cartoons. They sure look sad when they are adults.

This works on the supercard lite.

I don't know if I like this game or not. Its a great idea stiring your ingredients , cooking your ingredients and arranging the plate.

Nice, one of those rare original games for the DS in English. Nintendo's really reaching out to the other markets.

If the face of gaming is ever going to change from the stereotyped male image then consoles need titles like these so that there's something for all to enjoy

Anyway, cooking's fun in the game but when you actually do it, it's much messier

If you really want to learn how to cook, try the talking cook book released earlier.

As far as what's appropriate in the release threads.. I don't mind wading through the "it's working" stuff, it's usually pretty short, but I much prefer reading about people's impressions of the game. I'd love to get some concensus from the admins tho, or maybe I missed something in the forum rules.

Also and in addition....
I don't know... but they sure don't compare with teenagers that watch japanese cartoons. They sure look sad when they are adults.

As an adult that watches Japanese cartoons... I resemble that remark!

Actually a compatibility thread for each cart would be better not several threads.

It stops people for reposting stuff that's other already posted (or posting "This works on this card... *no settings mentioned* and cart fanboy flaming.) They could update the first post on the thread to be efficient too. I guess that's what the cart wikis are for though.

But yeah I guess you are right, people do check these threads to see which carts it works on.

*FAIL* oh and think some of my posts are spam outright anyway.

Also: ridiculous (hehe, sorry.)

btw, I just noticed that Majesco published this in the US... they're also publishing that Cake Mania port. Hmm I have to check out that online game sometime.

Ahaha! Finally, I've been waiting so long for this game. I was playing Megaman ZX, and couldn't shut my DS off because of the damned save thing, but I would much rather play Cooking Mama than Megaman ZX. I've been anticipating this game since E3.

Not sure if I'm recalling, or just making up, but I heard about a version of Cooking Mama for the Wii.

Also, is it just me, or is breading ingredients one of the hardest parts of this game?

I can never fully do it.
