Menu Translation:
???????? - Prologue Mode
- Clear the 8 levels and defeat the boss at the end!
???????? - Story Mode
- Beat all 45+ missions and rescue the princess!
???????? - Endless Mode
- Try and reach Level 99!
??????? - Battle/War (Taisen) Mode
- Fight a friend or the CPU, the first to reach the goal is the winner!
- - ???? ?? - Wait (Host Multi-card Play)
- - ???? ??? - Search (Join Multi-card Play)
- - ???????? - Delivery Battle (Single-card Play)
- - ???????? - Computer (Battle CPU)
(Notes: Whenever you make a chain, black blocks drop on your enemy and vice versa. Be careful though as you enemy can try and chain off these blocks too!)
????? - How to Play
- A tutorial mode, teaching you the rules and basic gameplay.

What are the submenus for Prologe and Story Mode? The top 01/01 or bottom 01/02? Also... is Prologue mode only the eight planet levels and that is it?

Top one is for the backgrounds, bottom one is for the sound effects that play when you form 3x3/pull off a chain.
You unlock them.

EDIT: That's what it is. A prologue. A short introduction to the story, involving the Uchuu Kaijuu (Space Monster).

Gotcha. Story mode is the real meat of the game. Prologue is just a sneak preview of story mode... esentially. Sound about right?

How do you get new backgrounds. By beating levels in Story Mode... all I get are new sounds.

Just earn alot of points, they come in every 50,000 in the meter I think.
That said, the Japanese Style ?? (??? in game) background looks pretty awesome. Reminds me of Hanafuda.

this game is a great puzzle game
finished the prologue mode and finished the story mode once ( about 43 puzzels) and now i thought i could stop playing it

But now there is a 2nd run which is opening , and i can play the same levels an other time but they are more difficult

and there is also the endless mode..
I wished i could stop playing this game but it is so addictive
