Same here in Aus! I just got back about 3 hours ago from the Olympic Stadium where I just watched the Cantebury Bulldogs get smashed against the Brisbane Bronco's in our local Rugby League (NRL) comp. Needless to say the total game of 80 minutes took give or take roughly 85 - 90 minutes to play including all stopages. Compare this to a NFL game I witnessed here a while ago between the San Diego Chargers and Denvo Bronco's, a game that had 4 x 15 minute quaters lasted over 3 hours!!

I think this is probably the one factor that stops most people outside of the USA from enjoying it, as we prefer the more end to end to end to end endurance gameplay rather then a game that requires a great mind with strong analytical skills and a lot of patience!

Needless to say Madden still rocks, I just wish it was like that old NES game 10 yard fight where defending is a non factor!

Can you imagine basketball WITHOUT the 24 second shot clock? The reality is that without that scoring system the game degenerates into a craptacular get the lead then hold the ball type of play that you see normally in the last few minutes of NBA games.....except it lasts for 40+ minutes. Before the rule was put into effect there was a professional basket ball game (that people payed to see) with a final score of 19-18. How interesting would it be then?

I completely agree and can we please get over the anti american football drama...if it sucks so damn much stop posting in a thread about an an american football game....Id like some actual opinions of the video game so I can know whether or not to put it on my supercard when I get home.
