The game recognises numbers more easily if you draw them in a specific way, for example with the number '4' start at the top and draw the diagonal left line and the horizontal line to the right, then draw your vertical line down from the top back where you started; the game will not recognise it if you draw the number '4' in a single motion ~ it will think it is a '9' =(. As for number '1' either draw a straight line, or if you must do the tiny diagoinal on top then draw the horizontal line across the bottom otherwise the game will see it as a '7'.

Nah, it's more simple. U can draw every number with a single motion.

No need of completing the number, it works PERFECT for me with this drawing

Yep, u're right, i got the same problem, only with "blue". U have to say it with much noise in the letter "L". I tried "baLue" and it worked very good

You guys are all nuts. I have never had a single problem with Blue, or any of the words. I think you all just need to announciate more clearly and stop mumblin'.

never had an issue at all either with the speech recognition. it does state at the beginning that it works better for native english speakers though.

it doesn't take into account regional accents, like the sahowth, or behstin.

On a side note, I wonder if you really train your brain (uh-huh

) or if you just get better at the game as you would with any (been doin' that my whole life).

Said "BaLoo" for every blue and got it right every time. No problem with the other words. Spoken test says I'm 75, but the written one says I'm 32. It recorded 75 pretty quick though...

i've lived in chicago my whole life, so i know i dont have an accent. yet it doesn't recognize ANYTHING i say! and i speak clearly and loudly. i dunno whats up! do you have to like press a button or something?? well im using a ezflash 2-256 if that helps at all..

Another user reporting problems with the game’s speech recognition. Yes I’m aware of that English is not my native language, but I assure you that I do know just how to pronounce basic colours such as red, blue and black, thank you very much

Anyhow, sudoku was great fun! This was actually my first time and I had a blast solving the puzzle

I just love how you're able to take notes in every single square if you're uncertain of what number is supposed to go there - thank you Nintendo.

Did anybody get more than two or three words in the word memory test? I don't know the exact name, but you have 2 minutes to look at 30 words, then you have to write them down.

I remembered quite a few words, but the stupid handwriting recognition simply didn't work. I tried capitals, lower case letters, combinations of them both -- nothing. I tried to draw the letters perfectly, but all I get is "c" when I draw an "L" or "Q" when I draw a "g".

yeah, i tried that one only once so far, but i could not get my K's to work under any circumstance!
but i got about ten, so i dunno, thats like 50% so thats like failing miserably.

Indeed, you have to be REAL quick on this one...

I've got to 8 numbers once, and obviously failed, even though my vision is usually quite fast, such as in puzzle and action games. It's remembering AND "sorting" them on the fly that's kinda hard...

And for the words game, it was kinda hard to write the letters too, but it was even more to remember them. For this one, you'll definitely have to use the "keywords" trick (or some name like that), where you make associations in your brain in order to remember them more efficiently. For instance, my word list had "gang" (or "girl") and "bang" one after the other, so guess how I remembered them...

ok, im 21 and on my first try i got an age of 70
:-\ wow, and im still in college thats a big ouch to me

but sometimes my game just stops at a white screen, i still hear the music and all, but it just messes up
works great sometimes, and others white screen of musical death
i have a supercard sd with the newest firmware and my ds has the firmware hack
so...if anyone has those issues or knows a solution, post!


latest firmware and prog for supercard sd being used

i just suffered a freeze on my normally flawless G6.

i actually freaked out cause it's the first time any ROM froze mid-game on me. Luckily it kept the save intact though.
