Well I have the USA (or Euro?) version on my supercard already. It's decent. It's no Mario Kart, but I played a few GP's and it was alright.

What does Wai Wai mean anyway?

In most contexts that I've seen it, 'wai wai' (わいわい）　is usually an exclamation of excitement, which would be similar to a 'woohoo!' or something like that.
