how's this game?, does it have too much japanese or it can be played ?

If you know how to play Sudoku, yeah. I just skipped through the menus and ended up at a standard Sudoku game. You might need a faq to select other modes, or to explain the rules of different variants.

quick translation of the menus:

title: Start/Help
main menu (left to right, from the top): Easy, Medium, Hard, Grade Certification - you'll be shown a short tutorial after selecting your first level, won't appear after that.
grade certification menu: Platinum, Gold, Silver, Bronze (not sure about this, none of them were selectable)
in-game, the red button under the numbers erases the selected space. the green left and right arrows are basically undo and redo functions. buttons in the bottom right are save (allows you to save during a game and resume later) and options.
options menu, from the top: erase all data, quit game, bgm, background colour, input mode (panel/draw), retry, exit menu.

Thanks for the translation, wasn't sure about those green arrows (undo,redo). I love Sudoku, great for short breaks.

Alot of people at my school have been playing Sudoku and I've been wondering what's the big crze about it. They have books about it everywhere now.

That's a great game !!!
I was a couple of month ago to a Japanese Karaoke bar, and since it was very slow that night, the pretty japanese bartender was chatting with me all the time and she shoed me how to play Sodoku.
I kind of understood then, but I never managed to solve that puzzle.
Today for the first time, and thanks to the DS, I was able to beat the first puzzle !!! What a satisfaction guys!!!
Thanks to the brilliant interface, everything became clear to me and now I can proudly say I am a pro !!
Another example of how a great handeld can make a good game even better !

Yep, this game is quite good. A truckload of puzzles (70 easy, and 90 medium and 140 hard or the other way around) with what seems like some "tests" (or grades or something like that) to unlock, a great interface with writing recognition so it can feel more "natural", a nice and simple look, and best of all, only 4.54mbytes once trimmed...
