If it's the same as the US version, I'd say it's bad. The aiming is done on the bottom screen, and the bubbles are on the top, so you can't tell where you're aiming half the time, even with the helper line that points out your shot.

you don't want japan's version. that's just the same puzzle bobble they've been churning out for the past ten or so years. and if you really want to play it like that, the jap version is hardly text heavy.

Jap version is wwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy better than the USA/Euro version hands down. Graphics on this version suck balls, the gameplay sucks balls, shooting the balls sucks.....balls....everything about this game sucks. Jap version kicks ass, plus the DS mode on the jap version is kick ass to boot. Japan Puzzle Bobble for teh win.

I admit the graphics on this one are a bit shit, but that doesn't matter, it's still fun as hell.

nope, still crashes (on supercard at least). As far as I can tell, the only difference between this and the US release is the publisher logo.

The Japanese language version of this is 0300 - Hippatte! Puzzle Bobble (J), but I think that they're talking about 0144 - Puzzle Bobble DS (J).
