Too bad the game is just a cheap rip off of what coulda been :/
I tried it, its very very bad... jsut like the reveiw says, its glitchy like mad. But who knows, maybe they fixed this version if they are planing on releasing it everywhere else. But somehow I doubt that.
Hopefully they'll try and make a REAL Devilish game later and use this as a way to make that one look better xD Wich probly means it'll be bad too :/

I think I'll stick to emulating the old ones though.

played it, didn't play it long enough to notice any glitches (although one name is spelt two different ways in the intro, yay for rushed translation) and i haven't played the japanese version so i don't know if there are any changes other than language. but it still suffers from the one thing that can kill any breakout clone - slow ball speed.

so i wouldn't dismiss it completely, still could be worth the download.
