First Bubble Bobble, now this cant Tatio just put them in one release or at least budget.
This game is nothing like the old 1987 game we all know and love.
The dude is trapped in a weird floating bubble... And the rainbows you draw are merely to defeat enemies, no more platforms = boring and silly.
My review score is a resounding "boo".
we knew there had to be a gay game...
eh? ya sure it ain't old islands or maybe middle aged if not then gay fits perfectly i guess
I've played the original Arcade game of this on Gametap. It's actually not that bad. I had a feeling the DS one would be awful though.
damn you taito, messing up classics
Bubble Bobble Revolution and Ranbow Island Revolutions have been schedualed as seperate releases for a while.
Taito was cool before 2005 came along. =(
Um um wasn't this an NES game Shaun, I mean its not like this is something new at all
rainbow islands on NES was great fun. going up up up up forever, was so easy to just dump 30 minutes to an hour into that game wondering where the time went. i always prefered it 100% over bubble bobble.
This version is new... er... hence the title! They've changed the gameplay completely.
It's nothing like the old Arcade, Sinclair or NES game. (And whatever other ports it recieved).
This is the rom on new iDeaS 220.127.116.11
ooo screenshots purty
I can remember rainbow islands on the Amiga great game. I've not played this yet, but it doesn't sound as good as the original so I'm not going to bother. As hadrian said they should have put them all on the 1 release, the files for the games are really small and they could have easily done it. For what they're charging for the game u could probably buy an Amiga on ebay and an original of Rainbow Islands.
The ROM has been re-dumped by SCZ.
"The one couldn't be encrypted properly. It caused by the dump hardwares, so we change hardware to re-dump it."
