Read to know when a game could be dumped:
These dates are what retailers say is out unless stated otherwise, sometimes they make dates up for pre-ordering purposes. These dates could also be "shipping dates" which usually means that that's the date when games get shipped to stores so a game could either be in stores on that day or after. Some games may get delayed some others not listed may appear but at the moment of posting these are correct. Also just because a game is released in stores it doesn't mean that they'll appear on our internets but NA titles usually appear on our 'nets Wednesday night UK time. Star Wars on the DS hasn't been too bad actually. Revenge of the Sith, though a GBA port with 3D space sections tacked on it was still a good side scrolling brawler. Lego Star Wars II was decent but its bugs ruined it, but LEGO Star Wars Complete was good. Lethal Alliance was terrible however. Here is a game that looks to better them all. Its by n-Space who have done some real bad games but also did some decent titles like Call of Duty 4 DS & Geist GC.

You are Darth Vader's Secret Apprentice! The Dark Lord of the Sith himself has trained you to use a lightsaber and unleash the power of the Force, but now your destiny is your own. Will you join Vader as the next great Sith, or will you choose to defend peace and justice as a noble Jedi Knight?

Sounds alright doesn't it? Rather have the Wii version though but I hope this one works out too.

Region North America Genre: Virtual Toy
Developer: InXile Entertainment Publisher: Genius Products, Inc.

Yet another title that is based on a free internet game, this one is more of a virtual toy but there is said to have a lot added to make this a fully fledge title worth money.

Line Rider allows players to construct their own track filled with as many ramps, hills, and jumps as they can imagine utilizing a pencil tool. Once the player is done creating their course, they can send a virtual sledder down the route until he wipes out.

This time it has a more colourful, cartoony look to it to the plain black lines on a white background and also there will be cut scenes to flesh out some kind of tacked on story. It is also said to have one of the best electronic soundtracks of any recent game but will this be enough to warrant the full price tag? I'm not sure.

Yep a Drawn To Life spin off but featuring Spongebob SquarePants! This isn't by the original creators but developed by Altron instead of 5th Cell. Amazingly for a change this was pushed forward so we can play sooner!

Drawn to Life: SpongeBob SquarePants Edition - Players will experience SpongeBob SquarePants like never before by using the unique drawing mechanic perfected in last year's innovative Drawn to Life, to draw their own character and populate the world of Bikini Bottom. Using the Nintendo DS stylus, players will create their own hero, defeat DoodleBob's rogue drawings, and rescue SpongeBob and his friends.

Well its the first SS game that I've been interested in playing thats for sure, though I did enjoy the GBA Krusty Krab game. The trailer makes it look like great fun.

Region North America Genre: Detective Adventure
Developer: Now Production Publisher: Atari

A while ago the adventure genre seemed dead, although many games did come out on PC/Mac none of them were really talked about. Then Came the DS with Phoenix Wright & Hotel Dusk among others and suddenly it came back. Here is another game and yet another detective/mystery game.

Players take on the role of a young rookie detective in the homicide division who, along with a partner, must solve the mysterious kidnapping of aspiring model Betsy Blake. Set in a stylized 1970s New York, it is up to you to separate the truth from lies and try to find Betsy before it's too late.

The game takes advantage of the unique dual screen of the Nintendo DS, allowing players to immerse themselves in the environments of New York. Players will be able to enter this world, move about, find clues at crime scenes, solve puzzles and answer questions. The use of the stylus will also allow the player to trace marks, routes and memos on suspicious items discovered at crime scenes, allowing players to advance to solving the kidnapping mystery. In addition to the on-going and developing kidnapping case, players also must solve a series of eight independent cases. There are also five action games related to the kidnapping storyline to undertake.

Its also in full 3D and has a Law & Order style presentation. Some previews say that its really easy to solve cases but they did state that it was only the first few they played so lets hope that they get harder.

Oh man I can't stand Dragon Ball at all but the game looks good and I'm sure you kids want it HARD.

Dragon Ball: Origins follows Goku and his clever sidekick Bulma as they travel the world overcoming enemies and obstacles to collect the 7 Dragon Balls. In the shoes of Goku, the player must protect Bulma from incoming enemy attacks using special skills, such as fighting with his power pole, or unleashing a kamehameha. Combined with Bulma’s ability to invent machines and weapons, the intrepid pair make a formidable team able to defeat even the strongest enemies or trickiest of obstacles.

The innovative controls mean the player uses only the touch pad to control Goku. Players must draw lines or shapes to direct the character and control the action by tapping on the screen, for example a double tap on Goku followed by tapping on the Ka-me-ha-me-ha letters unleashes his devastating signature move.

This will hit US & Europe as Dragon Ball: Origins in early November. I hope its good enough for the fanboys.

Another port of the PC point & click title & one that is always getiing delayed. It will be scaled down graphically and won't feature as much voice work but the rest is pretty much the same game.

Sneak into the Pharaoh's pyramid and meet up with Assil and his crew of crazy friends. Just as the party starts to get hot. A silly accident turns life upside down! Unleashing a deadly curse and discovering a precious amulet as Assil, you will be immersed in Ankh's Amazing ancient world.

Ngamer recently gave this 50/100 but Pocket Gamer gave it 7/10 so I guess its best to try it for yourself.

A sequel to this game has already been announced, some previews say its a big improvement on previous titles.

You have moved to an island town that was once enchanted…however it has been years since the mystical Mother Tree has shown any signs of life and the Harvest Goddess has vanished. The island has lost its connection with nature and the inhabitants don't know what to do. Till the earth, tend to and befriend animals, nurture friendships and build a family to help save the island!

Same old same old but Famitsu did give this 30/40 and if they're right it looks like we're in a for a good HM game for a change. Hurrah!

Region North America Genre: Action Adventure
Developer: Krome Studios Publisher: LucasArts

From the developer of the bad Hellboy: The Science of Evil, Ty the Tasmanian Tiger & Viva Pinata: Party Animals (crap spin off to the 360 game), could this be good? Does it stand a chance?

This entry in the Star Wars saga casts players as Darth Vader's "Secret Apprentice", unveiling new revelations about the Star Wars galaxy. The expansive story, created under direction from George Lucas, is set during the largely unexplored era between Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith and Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope. In it, players will assist the iconic villain in his quest to rid the universe of Jedi – and face decisions that could change the course of their destiny. The Wii version also adds an exclusive duel mode in which players can compete head-to-head with their friends to determine the ultimate Jedi Master.

So he developer has done crap games but so far scores have been good. ONM gave it 82% & NGamer gave it 77% which both show that its pretty good but not great. Also apparently the Wii version is the best of the lot, people who have played all versions state that the others play like technical demos while the Wii one feels like a proper game. Could be good.

Am I the only one waiting for drawn to life: Spongebob edition? The original drawn to life was a very good concept but the game itself was poor and lacked a theme, making the levels boring, spongebob squarepants is the theme which can give this franchise some edge
