Boring week, nothing special is out if you have a DS.

<!--coloro:#483D8B--><span style="color:#483D8B"><!--/coloro--><u><b>Read to know when a game could be dumped:</b></u>
These dates are what retailers say is out unless stated otherwise, sometimes they <b>make </b>dates up for pre-ordering purposes so not all can be trusted. These dates could also be <b>"shipping dates"</b> which usually means that that's the date when games get <b>shipped </b>to stores so a game could either be in stores on that day or <b>after</b>.

Some games may get <b>delayed </b>some others not listed may appear but at the moment of posting these are correct. Also just because a game is released in stores it <b>doesn't</b> mean that they'll appear on our internets but NA titles usually appear on our 'nets Wednesday night UK time.

Have patience and remember scene releases are not a right but a privilege.<!--colorc--></span><!--/colorc-->

There is so little info for a game that could be good. Its based on a new comic by "Image Comics" that launches in September.
<!--quoteo--><div class='quotetop'>QUOTE</div><div class='quotemain'><!--quotec-->In Neo Terra, a world of forgotten technology and natural magic, reckless young glide-wing pilot, Billy Boom Boom, must outwit the Pirate King to stop him from ushering in a new Dark Age. This is a story-driven racing game in which players control flying vehicles called "Glidewings" to race against rivals. Players can drive through winding tracks, collect gems, and launch small bombs to slow down opponents.

    * Take to the skies and dive, roll and boost your way to victory across 15 unique skill-testing tracks
    * Use wild powerups like the Ball and Chain and Scrambler to beat your opponents
    * Collect over 100 medallions for setting records and completing quests
    * Enjoy different gameplay modes- single player, multiplayer (using Wi-FI), Single Player Quick Race, Crystal Collection and Challenge Modes<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->
Kinda sounds like the flying bit in Diddy Kong racing and also has wi-fi which is nice though probably not online. The image below is pretty much the only picture I can see at all, I tried to find some better images but couldn't. Could something so with such low hype turn out to be the next best DS racer? I'm not 100% sure if it is out enxt week as there are so many different dates for it.

Nintendo did Pokemon, we can safely say it was a success. Nintendo wants to recreate that success with another title.
<!--quoteo--><div class='quotetop'>QUOTE</div><div class='quotemain'><!--quotec-->Fossil Fighters blends the timeless human fascination with dinosaurs with the fun of building a collection. The game lets players build a collection of more than 100 fantastical dinosaurs known as “vivosaurs.” This new game incorporates elements of discovery, tactics, and strategy as players try to get the best vivosaurs on their teams to battle it out on the field.

Players dig for fossils and use the touch screen of the Nintendo DS or Nintendo DSi system to hammer, chip, drill and brush away the bits of rock around the fossil. When their efforts result in the buildup of dust, players blow into the Nintendo DS microphone to blow the dust away.

The game rates players on how well they handle the fossils during the cleaning process. The more carefully and completely a player cleans a fossil, the more powerful the vivosaur will be in battle. Vivosaurs can also gain more power through battles.

Players must collect various parts of each vivosaur. The head must be found first to bring a vivosaur to life while the body, arms and legs can be added to increase its power on the battlefield and imbue it with special powers. It's Dino vs. Dino.. which one wins?

The game features an engrossing role-playing storyline and vast environments for players to explore. Players can connect wirelessly with friends to battle or trade their fossils.<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->
Yeah...Fossils...woo...meh. The thing about Pokemon was that it was a new concept to a lot of people (though it did borrowed from a lot of games and existing board games) and it did everything pretty much well...up until it was milked to death. Fossil Fighters however just looks like every other rip off that has been released since, even the Dinosaur/fossil gimmick has been done many times before, anyone remember Fossil League and Dinosaur King? In Japan this title wasn't quite a big hit, though it did sell over 240,000 copies. Reviews from Japan say the game is better than average but nothing more.

Welcome back to 1996...minus the online play. Don't expect anything special or different but those who enjoy retro FPS games from the mid-90's may find some interest in the game. I really want this to be good, the trailers make it look like its at least above average but I dunno I sense badness of Daikatana proportions. If there are any killer frogs on the first level then I'm not gonna play anymore.

Ah another port of a five year old PS2 game but this one is more than welcome. You'd think that this game would have been more hyped up considering what it is and who its by.
<!--quoteo--><div class='quotetop'>QUOTE</div><div class='quotemain'><!--quotec-->Phantom Brave is a turn based strategy RPG that incorporates unique battle styles and a hardcore character customization system.

There are two main phases to Phantom Brave's battle system. The first phase is the Confine phase. Marona the protagonist of this game can summon ghosts and monsters as battle units to fight for her. However, in order to do so she must confine souls in to objects on the battlefield like rocks, plants, and items. Depending on what you object you use as the host the stats of the units you summon will greatly differ. Some units are become stronger on certain objects, so knowing your spirits' characteristics becomes a very important strategic element.

Its no Disgaea and there are better NIS titles but the PS2 game is one of the better S-RPG's out there and this is said to be just the same but with more added to it. More added to it? Shit this'll take you ages to finish, the original took 100+ hours to finish. What I liked about the game and what others didn't like was that there was no grid meaning you could freely move around, it makes a welcome change for me. Also the American voice soundtrack on the original was unusually very good for a game like this.

<!--quoteo--><div class='quotetop'>QUOTE</div><div class='quotemain'><!--quotec-->Completely redesigned and built from the ground up, Madden NFL 10 introduces a unique art style on the Wii. Player models embody characteristics of your favorite athletes, plus new larger-than-life stadiums showcase the unique details found at each of the 32 NFL stadiums.

Madden NFL 10 is the perfect game to play with friends and family, whether you're starting a cooperative season with the all-new Road To The Super Bowl, or crowning a "King of the Coach" in the brand new Madden Showdown party mode.

    * Built from the ground up, an improved visual style designed exclusively for the Wii brings players and stadiums to life like never before
    * Crown a king of the couch in an all-new, four-player party mode featuring custom gameplay tweaks and an interactive pick 'em system that keeps everyone involved
    * Lend a hand by using the Wii Remote to pick up blocks, trip up wide receivers, and create clear paths to the end zone, all while your teammate runs the plays
    * Team up with up to four total players in an all-new cooperative Season mode. Play solo or with your friends while tracking your Mii's performance all the way to the Super Bowl
    * Make a play when it matters most as the camera zooms in and the play slows down during the game's most pivotal moments. What happens next is all up to you
    * It's easier than ever to sit back in the pocket and complete passes with an updated passing system. Simply point to your wide receivers and hit the open man using the Wii Remote<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->

The Big Deal looks decent, depending on how good the AI is and how good they do the card games. Otherwise I'll stick with Club House Games.

I might give CORE a try but I'm not expecting much.

    The rest looks boring.

Too bad Phantom Brave isn't ported to the DS (since I don't have a Wii), because Disgaea was fun on the DS.
Soccer Captain, damn, I want Imagine: Goalkeeper since that is my position (I'm no captain material). ;P

Madden NFL and Phantom Brave are both maybe's for me.
If I download them, it will mainly be because there scrubbed versions are very small.
Thanks for the great write-up again Hadrian.

I predict that even months after its release people will be making threads asking if someone could hack it so it is like Halo or hack it so it'll have WFC.

Eh, nothing interesting for me on the DS. I might try out the racing thing if I'm ever bored enough, though. I'd love to play Phantom Brave, but I don't have a Wii. xp
