    NDS SMS (Super Memory Stick) for Original NDS cart and R6 released!

    The first NDS SMS Backup Master V0.30 beta version for download:

    NDS SMS SPEC:
    ? USB Plug and Play, driver FREE
    ? 2in1 intelligent design, AUTO detect chip type
    ? Support all original NDS Cart and R6
    ? Support nds game save EEPROM backup/restore
    ? Support R6 firmware update
    ? Build in 2 color LED indication

    When connect to USB port and PC detect the NDS SMS,the RED LED will turn light, now waiting for insert the original NDS cart or R6 cart to continue.

    SMS have detect the original NDS game cart or R6 cart insert, the LED will turn to GREEN, now you can start to operate the save and BIOS

    So what does it do? can you dump ds games with it straight onto your pc or summit?

    This looks like it can only read and write the save data, which without game dumping makes this very useless.

    It would be really cool if it could dump games, but I can see people buying it just for handling saves of their commercial games!

    Looks pretty good. And it should have game dumping. Not just save dumping.

    Nothing you can't do with the NDS backup tool. Also that one is SOFTWARE. Do they really need to release a piece of hardware that does what anyone with a flashcart can already do, who in their right mind invests in developing such useless hardware instead of putting effort into polishing the software on their flashcarts?

    Apparently it might be able to backup carts in the future, but like you guys have said, there are already homebrew apps for backing up both full game carts + saves.

    Because some people don't use flashcarts, but want to manage their saves on original carts?! [​IMG]

    I see potencial in it, and don't think it's useless at all.......If I had bunch of games, and no flashcart, I would surely want to own device like this!
