Yup, I think this Kokoro Scan's North America/Europe localized name is Heart Scan.
If you say stuff into the mic, the DS will tell you what emotions are expressed by the words. It says things like Anger 87% Sad 20% Flirting 3%.

That's the origin of the "learn by heart" expression. We have it in portuguese too: "saber de cór".

Kokoro scan has been dumped. Scene number 1334.

But English version is yet to be released. Actually I'm unsure wether it will actually come to this side of the world. There's no info on gamefaqs so will take a long time IF it's ever going to be released.
